As mentioned in the previous post, we made it to Moab! Yay! As photographers and hiking enthusiasts we were very excited to get to come to Arches National Park again.
We did three hikes that day so I'm going to split the posts into the three hikes.
Window Arches:
This was a new one for us. It was an easy 1 miler round trip. We wanted to see how Chico did with the hiking. He did fabulously well, we were so pleased. Here are the pictures from those awesome arches:
When we got out of the car to start our hike Chico said with a bit of dissapointment in his voice, "This isn't scary!" I'm not sure why he said that but Brent was so proud. A little thrill seeker in the making I'm thinking. I think Chico was pleasantly surprised when we got up under the arch, that it was indeed somewhat scary. :)
As we were leaving the Windows area in Arches, Chico pointed out the window and said, "Elephants!" Sure enough there were formations that looked a lot like big gigantic tall elephants! Later that day I was looking at the map and wouldn't you know, those formations were named "Marching Elephants"!

Beautiful pictures! Looks like so much fun. We are headed down to Bryce Canyon in June and we can't wait to see that beautiful red rock!
