Y'all ready for a super long post? Since the last time I posted we did the following....
...went to the aquarium and saw some really awesome fish and other strange creatures. I 've really wanted to take Brent here since I got a pass last year. We finally got to during his spring break... on the last day of spring break. It was a lot of fun to show Brent, even though Chico was grumpy.

...played with Brent's birthday present. Brent's sister got him this awesome helicopter. We have had lots of fun and have had a few scary moments with it hitting people's faces. I've been wanting to get Brent one of these for quite a while. I'm glad Christa did. :)

...made yummy food. I am trying to make things from scratch to save money. I have started making pie crusts, tortillas, and bread. I feel so domestic! I'll have to post the recipes for the pictures below. They are SOOOO good.
AND I have started making homemade baby food for Nelmo. It is so much less expensive that way AND it tastes WAY better. He loves it! And I can't get enough of the look on his face in this next picture. lol

...went skiing again. This time we planned a day when my Mom could come up at lunch so I could feed Nelmo and then we could take the boys down Chickadee with us. We also got the added bonus of her bringing up better food than we had planned for AND she took pictures of us! She's so nice to us.
Chico's favorite part was "flying in the air in the chair lift".
Brent took Nelmo down (I was afraid I'd fall while holding him).
It may appear that he's showing off for the camera by skiing backwards (which he's really good at). But no, he's not showing off, he's being a good dad and protecting Nelmo from the snow while going down the hill.
His little hat and snow pants were so cute!
Chico and I made our way down somewhat slowly. He decided he wanted to run down the hill instead of letting me hold him.
After that Mom went back inside with Nelmo cuz it was pretty darn cold. We went down with Chico a few more times. He stood on our skis a few times while we went down the hill, that was fun!

...celebrated our FOURTH anniversary! Love you Brent!

...walked around the Bountiful Temple on a Sunday afternoon
Splashed in slush.
snuck into the temple grounds
All in pajamas. Nice.

Nelmo learned to sit up on his own. I have been so excited for this. Most especially because it meant that he and Chico could take baths together. They're so cute in the tub together.
Chico tries to help a little too much. And Nelmo tries to steal his toys. It's fun to watch.
Oh man, I love my boys!

Mom, thanks for coming all the way up there, bringing us Subway, lugging our kids around, waiting around for us while getting flirted with by a weird man. You're awesome!

...worked in the yard a bit. Really only a bit. Haven't planted anything yet because of this crazy weather.
Grandpa always seems to show up when we're working in the yard. We love it! We love him!
I love his cute little body in this next picture.

...easter egg hunted with the cousins
We kinda forced Nelmo to participate
This was my favorite picture of the day. My niece couldn't find any eggs and was getting worked up about it. So I hid right behind the egg and said, "Look at me!!!" and this is what followed.
My handsome hubby looking ever so studly as he sneaks some easter candy. :)

Chico was being his cute self. Brent didn't want to miss capturing it. These pictures are SO Chico. We love this boy so much.

...we went skiing again this last weekend. Discount tickets to Snowbird.... how could we resist!?
Okay you're right, that's not Snowbird. We forgot our camera that day, so I tried to find the best pictures that replicated what the day was like. ;) The skill level was somewhat similar to these pictures too.;)

Phew! That ends the events from the last month and a half of our lives. We also went to the Symphony and Opera, hung out with friends and family, finished up the semester (Brent's back in school), and did a bunch of photo shoots (photography blog is now updated too). Life is good!
